Oklahoma Association of School Resource Officers The Oklahoma Association of School Resource Officers (OKASRO) is a non-profit organization. Safety and security in Oklahoma schools are our priority.

There are School Resource Officers (SROs) in schools throughout Oklahoma. Most receive training through NASRO, which offers Basic and Advance SRO training. The SRO is a specialty position that tends to separate the SRO from the rest of the police department. Because of this, it is important for the SRO to develop good relationships with other SROs. The National Association of School Resource Offic

ers (NASRO) is a not-for-profit organization for school based law enforcement officers, school administrators, and school security/safety professionals. NASRO members work as partners to protect students, school faculty and staff and the schools they attend.
