Welcome to the fan page for the Deer Creek Fire Protection District, proudly and professionally protecting northwestern Oklahoma County and southwestern Logan County in central Oklahoma. In 1996, we became the title 19 fire department known as Deer Creek Fire Protection District. DCFPD is a title 19 fire department, which means we are supported by property taxes in an unincorporated area. We cover

roughly 53 square miles of first in district. We have averaged between 500-545 calls for the last two years. Of those calls, we only average approximately 35% EMS. Meridian Ave, and one at 22700 N. Our fleet of apparatus consists of 3 engines (pumpers), 1 tanker/pumper, 1 tanker (tender), 4 quick attack brush pumpers, 1 squad/light rescue, and 2 command/support vehicles. We have 6 paid firefighters, and our goal is to have 28 volunteers, to make our roster total 34 members.

We are very proud of our Deputy Chief of Training, Jamie Hanchett, who recently graduated from the first all volunteer Oklahoma Executive Fire Officer program this past Saturday. Chief Hanchett was selected by her peers to give the commencement speech at their graduation ceremony.
As always, she represented herself, our department, and the Oklahoma fire service extremely well. We included pictures of her speech as we believe every word and want to share it with the world.
We are proud of you Chief Hanchett!
