Presented by the City of Edmonds Arts Commission, Write on the Sound Writers' Conference (WOTS) was founded in 1986. The conference is held in The Frances Anderson Center, an historic school house which is home to the Edmonds Arts Commission. Edmonds, WA, is a beautiful beachfront town on Puget Sound/Salish Sea, 20 miles north of Seattle. This unique and affordable conference hosts approximately 2

75 attendees, and attracts people from all over the country. Focused solely on the craft of writing, the 3-day event is held the first weekend in October, featuring over 30 workshops, panels and plenary sessions, manuscript critiques, a writing contest, and an on-site book shop. Consider staying a long weekend in Edmonds to explore our waterfront community and beyond. Stroll through the center of town, discover art galleries, specialty shops, boutiques and various eateries.
