The Edmonds Food Bank is auctioning a one-of-a-kind, original Jimothy the Raccoon painting by Seattle artist Ryan Henry Ward (“Henry”), ALL proceeds supporting EFB operations.

Jimothy obviously became a Seattle sensation this summer, inspiring Henry to create and donate paintings to raise thousands for local food banks, starting with Ballard Food Bank (Jimothy's neighborhood). Now on the tail end (get it?) of the Summer of Jimothy, you can own a piece of this history!

Bidding opens Friday, August 28th at 7 a.m. and closes Wednesday, September 2nd at 7 p.m.

Jimothy will be hanging out in the window of Graphite Arts Center through September 2nd if you would like to walk by for a peek.

We visited Food Lifeline 🌿 last week to support a new bill from Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal called Fresh Bucks for Fresh Produce. This would give families who need it most $60 a month to spend on produce. We are proud to support policies that help the most vulnerable among us recieve nutrition!

Bonus: we toured the warehouse of Lester's dreams and talked about what features we could possibly have in our new building!

Empty Bowl Season is here! There are a number of ways you can support those in our community experiencing food insecurity this year:

1. Attend Empty Bowl on September 24th at Edmonds Yacht Club. Tickets are on sale on August 5th at 10am for $150 each.

2. Purchase a raffle ticket! Raffle tickets are $20 each and put you in the drawing to win a suite for 24 people to a 2027 Seattle Mariners game as well as tons of other great gift cards and experiences from local businesses.

3. Join us at Glazed & Amazed for our Empty Bowl Paint Party! On August 20th from 6:30-8:30 we will be painting bowls together to be chosen by our Empty Bowl attendees at the fundraising event.

We have a BIG goal this year: to raise $300,000 to go towards purchasing food and keeping our operations running!
