The Edmonds Police Department invites community members to attend its upcoming Open House on Wednesday, July 22, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Edmonds Police Department, located at 250 5th Avenue North.
This family-friendly event is an opportunity for residents to meet Edmonds police officers and support staff, learn more about the department, and get an inside look at some of the resources and specialty units that serve the community. The Open House is designed to strengthen relationships between the Edmonds Police Department and the community through conversation, transparency, and connection.
Attendees will have the chance to view police vehicles and equipment, meet officers and staff, visit informational tables, and learn more about public safety programs, crime prevention, community engagement, and volunteer opportunities. Chief Dawkins and other members of the department will be on hand to provide demonstrations and interact with the community.
“Our Open House is a great opportunity for community members to meet the people behind the badge, ask questions, and learn more about the work being done every day to keep Edmonds safe,” Tabatha Shoemake, Community Engagement Coordinator.
Community members of all ages are welcome to attend. No registration is required.
