Parents,

East Bernard notified us that they will only have 1 sub varsity team this week. We did find a game with Shiner for our freshman boys. It will be in Shiner on Thursday @ 5pm.

This will probably happen a lot this year. Most schools do not have 3 teams. We are looking ahead and trying to fill the spots but things change week to week due to what our opponents have available on the sub varsity level. Due to our current numbers we want to play a freshman & JV game every week if possible.

🎤⚖️ The Speech & Debate season has officially begun!
Our Edna High School Congress debaters are kicking off the season by competing online in the Edna TFA Qualifier, representing Edna with skill, confidence, and determination! 🤠👏
TFA stands for the Texas Forensics Association, an organization dedicated to promoting excellence in speech and debate across the state.
These students are putting their voices, knowledge, and quick thinking to work!

🔨⚙️ Learning by Doing at EHS! ⚙️🔨
At Edna High School, students aren’t just learning about careers—they’re getting their hands on the tools and building real-world skills!
Our students in Agricultural Technology & Mechanical Systems courses taught by Kurtis Koop, and in Victoria College’s Carpentry I class are gaining hands-on experience as they learn to safely use tools. 🛠️
These experiences turn classroom learning into skills for the future! We love seeing our students working hard, learning new trades, and discovering what they’re capable of.
