TENG is continuing to remind the Edwards’ populous who we are, making ourselves known by getting more involved in base activities. The most recent was our submission in the annual Holiday Lane Card submission that was displayed at Friday’s Tree Lighting Ceremony & Winter Festival.
{We don’t know, as of yet, who won the voting portion of the competition for “Best Card”, but ours was pretty awesome regardless!!}
This year’s theme was “Disney” so we decided to go unconventional versus traditional Mickey/princesses.
I present to you Test Engineering Toy Story starring:
Buzz Lightyear - lasing on the IR Board and doing missile tests on PIRA
Rex - RCO tracking Santa on the scope and keeping eyes on the bomb drop with Mr. Binoculars
Woody - Test Conductor
Jessie - Statistician
Potato Head - Engineer
Slinky - performing Instrumentation measurements
Alien - admin support!
Complete with a C-17 doing a package drop on the Barbell
A huge shout out to Patrick Martin (our designer and detail worker), Chris Webber (woodworking), and all the painters: Katherine McGinnis/Shannon Sparks/Elisha Edmondson [and Rosemary Coley.
The card will be on display in front of the BX (near the large tree in the grass area) through the holiday season.
