All,
I am very concerned about our blood drive tomorrow, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Is there anything going on that might hinder blood people signing up?
At this time we need 18 more donors for Tuesday and 42 more for Wednesday, in order to reach our goals.
These donations will go to hospitals that are expecting our deliveries in the next few days for patients undergoing open-heart surgery, organ transplant, childbirth, trauma (auto wrecks, gunshots, job injuries, etc) and severe anemia. One childbirth patient required 21 units of blood, plasma and platelets! She and baby are fine thanks to 21 donors.
Please send the attached flyer, hang, post on your social media and appeal for donors to make an appointment. You have pulled this off before and I'm asking for your help again--quickly.
Thank you,
Bob Woodall

Hello and welcome to the Edwards Protestant Service!
This week we will continue to do our Worship on the Lawn experience at Chapel 1. This gives us the opportunity to mitigate Covid-19 spread while we gather together in the midst of a global pandemic. Base guidance requires mask wear inside for everyone, but it also encourages small groups to gather outside for purposes like religious practice. As per base guidance, please be sure to keep a mask with you in the event someone asks you to wear one in their presence.
When you come, there will be tables set up under the the shade with chairs around them for family style experience in worship. Each family will have a craft box for their young ones in attendance. The purpose of those activities is to encourage conversation and spiritual growth throughout the week with your children. If you would prefer to sit on the lawn, please feel free to bring a lawn blanket/chair, but be aware of the power of the sun and wind. A golf umbrella for your family is recommended should you choose to worship out of the shade.
Bottles of cold water and popsicles are provided to help with the desert temperature.
Service time is Sunday 10 AM at Chapel 1, Bldg 2700, 15 W Popson Avenue. All Faith traditions are welcomed as this is an inter-denominational Protestant Worship Service.

UPDATE: this has been channeled through the First Sergeants and First Four Council, and therefore the transportation spots are filled.
