Veteran’s Hero Haul 2026
Jerry & Pat Tavernier began the Hero Haul Program 23 years ago as a way to provide personal care items for Veterans in need that visit the VA Medical Center in Battle Creek, MI and the Veterans Homeless Center in South Bend, IN. For the past 13 years, the Edwardsburg Presbyterian Church has joined the effort by sponsoring this cause. This joint effort, along with the Edwardsburg, MI community, has made it a very successful non-profit event. In 2025, combining items donated and monetary donations (which also included drives at all 3 Circle Federal Credit Union branches in Cassopolis, Edwardsburg & Niles, MI) we were able to deliver over $11,207.00 in Retail Value items. This was, of course, made possible by some strategic bargain shopping throughout the year.

If you would like to purchase items shown, please drop them off on Memorial Day or if you would like to make a monetary donation, we can do the shopping for you. Either way please stop by and say "Hello" before the parade at the Edwardsburg Presbyterian Church. Thank you for your continued support.
