Stronger together for Madison County! đź’™

We were so proud to join Chestnut Health Systems and fellow community leaders last Friday for a meaningful conversation with our state legislators about policies and initiatives shaping mental health care across our region.

A heartfelt thank you to our local lawmakers for sharing their time and insights with us. We also want to thank our dedicated partners who joined the discussion to champion collaborative solutions.

Strong communities aren't built overnight—they are built through ongoing collaboration, thoughtful dialogue, and a shared commitment to making a real difference for everyone we serve.

📣 Help Shape Madison County's Crisis Response System!

The Madison County CESSA Regional Subcommittee is working to build a better emergency response system for mental health and substance use crises, and at least 25% of our group must have lived experience. The Subcommittee will meet once a quarter. First Meeting is on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at 2:30 PM.

We want our services shaped directly by the people who use them—drawing from peer recovery specialists and advocates who have walked the path, pushed past stigma, and know what it takes to be in active recovery.

We are looking for individuals representing:
• Behavioral health or crisis navigation experience
• Substance use recovery
• ID/DD & neurodivergence
• Family caregivers who have navigated emergency or 911 systems
• Certified Peer Specialists (CPRS/CRSS)

Your voice matters. If you're interested in joining our CESSA Subcommittee Sign-Up HERE: https://arcg.is/P9GHW1 or scan the QR code below.
