Hey, volleyball fans!! We've got some terrific volleyball events coming up in September at Plummer Family Park, 3501 Sports Park Drive. Whether you want to get out on the court or just take in the action from the sidelines, we've got options!
🏐 First up: The Battle of The Lou Grass Volleyball Tournament, happening September 5-6. Two all-purpose grass fields will be packed with courts for a great couple of days of matches! There will be lots of fun and food at this tournament (generally aimed at players 18+). Registration is open through August 31. Get more details and sign your team up at: https://volleyballlife.com/event/39175?tab=register
🏐 Next up: The Midwest Open, our second annual professional AVP volleyball tournament, is set for September 25-27! It was so much fun hosting world-class athletes on our six-court sand volleyball complex in Plummer Family Park and we're looking forward to even more fun this year. Presented by S.M. Wilson, the event will hand out $20,000 in prizes to the top men's and women's AVP professional players that weekend! Special thanks to S.M. Wilson and to our MVP sponsors Bacardi and Busey Bank, and community sponsors Byron Carlson Petri & Kalb, Edwardsville Bank, FastSigns, Republic Services and The Gori Law Firm, along with our event partner VOLLIS. A few things to note:
🐟 All equipment such as fishing rods, reels and bait will be provided. However, you can bring your own!
