What an incredible day!

The 61st Annual Edwardsville NAACP Freedom Fund Banquet was a tremendous success. Under the theme โ€œStronger Together: One Community, One Future,โ€ we gathered to celebrate achievement, honor service, invest in our future, and strengthen the bonds that unite our community.

Congratulations to all of our award recipients, scholarship and grant recipients, and community leaders whose dedication continues to make a lasting impact. Your work inspires us all.

A heartfelt thank you to our keynote speaker, Patrick E. Smith, for delivering a powerful and timely message. Thank you to our musical guests, J Brew and the Crew, for helping make the afternoon so special.

A special thank you to our Freedom Fund Banquet Chair, Dr. Kimberly Moody, for her outstanding leadership, vision, and countless hours of dedication in helping make this event a success. We are also deeply grateful to every member of the Freedom Fund Banquet Committee, whose hard work behind the scenes ensured a memorable and impactful afternoon. Your service, commitment, and teamwork did not go unnoticed.

Thank you to our sponsors, donors, elected officials, community partners, volunteers, and everyone who attended for your support, generosity, and commitment to the mission of the NAACP.

As President of the Edwardsville Branch NAACP, I am grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside so many dedicated individuals who believe in progress, equity, and opportunity for all.

The banquet may be over, but the work continues. Let us remain united, engaged, and committed to building a brighter future together.

One Community. One Future. Stronger Together.

With gratitude,

Dr. Traci S. Daniels
President, Edwardsville Branch NAACP

What a wonderful day of service, health, and community!

On Saturday, May 2, the Edwardsville NAACP Branch hosted our Community Health Fair at the Edwardsville Public Library in partnership with the SIUE WE CARE Mobile Unit. We are grateful for everyone who came out to receive valuable health screenings, information, and resources.

Events like this remind us that community care is more than a phrase; it is action. When we work together, we help build healthier families, stronger neighborhoods, and a more informed community.

A heartfelt thank you to SIUE WE CARE Mobile Unit, the Edwardsville Public Library, our volunteers, partners, and everyone who helped make this event meaningful and impactful.

The Edwardsville NAACP Branch remains committed to advocacy, access, education, and service โ€” because health equity is community empowerment.
