Planning a trip to the Illinois State Fair this year?

Single-day admission tickets will be available online for $5 each during a limited-time sale from August 1–12. The tickets are valid for any day of the 2026 Illinois State Fair, taking place August 13–23 in Springfield.

This year’s fair celebrates the Route 66 Centennial with the theme “Miles of Smiles,” recognizing 100 years of memories, music, and history along the historic road that began right here in Illinois.

Visitors can also check out the Illinois State Museum’s “Miles of Memories: Stories of Route 66” exhibit through August 20 for a chance to receive a voucher for one adult weekday admission to the fair.
