Thursday, May 21 is Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD)! This year, MOPD is celebrating GAAD with Apple on Thursday, May 21 from 3 PM to 7 PM at Central West Community Center (2102 W Ogden Ave). First, MOPD will host a panel about disability, accessibility, and technology. Then, Apple will lead an interactive learning session that highlights built-in accessibility features. Apple builds accessibility features into every product, so everyone can use them in ways that work best for them.

MOPD strives to make Chicago the most accessible and inclusive city in the world. This includes digital accessibility! People with disabilities deserve to independently consume and interact with digital applications and content. Together, MOPD and Apple will give you the tools you need to conquer the digital world.
