🥺🐾 MAXINE HAS A QUESTION 🐾🥺

You know that look.

The one that says:

“So… when is it going to be my turn?”

That’s Maxine.

And honestly? We wish we had an answer for her.

This sweet girl watches people come and go every day. She sees kennel doors open. She sees dogs leave for walks. She sees families stop and visit.

And every time, she hopes.

Maxine is still just a puppy, around 4 to 5 months old and already about 40 pounds. She should be spending her days learning house rules, collecting toys, taking naps on a couch, and figuring out how many treats she can convince her family to hand over.

Instead, she’s growing up in a shelter.

The thing about Maxine is that she’s not the puppy demanding to be the center of attention.

She’s a little softer than that.

A little more thoughtful.

A little more likely to sit back and quietly hope someone notices her.

And we hope someone does.

“Ready to be part of the family.”

Mali somehow keeps checking boxes like she’s trying to win a game. 💛

At just 1 year old and around 25 pounds, she’s that perfect in-between size that’s hard to find. Big enough for adventures, small enough to fit comfortably into everyday life.

She’s thriving in foster care and has already mastered one of the biggest things adopters hope for: she’s fully housebroken. 🎉

Mali loves to play, loves to learn, and loves having something to do. Whether it’s exploring the yard, playing with dog friends, or figuring out what you’re up to, she wants to be part of the fun.

✨ A few things to know about Mali:
🐶 Does well with other dogs (especially dogs her size or larger)
🐱 Cat-tolerant, but may chase
🏡 Fully housebroken
🎾 Playful, active, and always ready for an adventure
🧠 Smart and eager to learn

Like any young dog, she’s still polishing up her manners. She gets excited about food and should be fed separately, and when she’s happy, her enthusiasm can occasionally overflow. Because of that, we’re looking for a home without young children.

But what stands out most about Mali isn’t any item on a checklist.

It’s her spirit.

She’s the kind of dog who wakes up every day excited about life. The kind who makes ordinary days feel a little brighter. The kind who becomes your shadow, your adventure buddy, and your best friend all at once.

Some dogs need a chance.

She’s going to COMMIT. 😂

No polite little lick.
No gentle nibble.

She attacks life the same way she attacks a giant lollipop:

✨ With enthusiasm.
✨ With determination.
✨ With absolutely zero concern for looking dignified.

And honestly? We love that about her.

Shakira is the kind of dog who wakes up ready to LIVE. She wants to explore, play, zoom, sniff every blade of grass, and convince you that every day is the best day ever.

After spending so much of her life in a shelter kennel, it would be easy for her spirit to be dimmed.

Instead, she chooses joy.

Every. Single. Day.

At 3 years old, Shakira is still waiting for someone whose energy matches hers. Someone who wants a sidekick for adventures, walks, hikes, backyard games, and all the little moments that make life fun.

Some dogs need a home.

Rocky needs a person.

Not just someone who wants a dog.
Someone who understands that trust is something earned, not assumed.

Rocky is about 2 years old, fully vetted, neutered, heartworm negative, and ready to leave shelter life behind.

But we’re not looking for just any adopter.

We’re looking for Rocky’s person.

The person who sees a deaf dog and doesn’t see limitations.

The person who understands that communication comes in many forms.

The person willing to slow down, be patient, and build a relationship based on trust instead of expectations.

Because Rocky is deaf.

He experiences the world differently than most dogs. He doesn’t hear footsteps approaching. He doesn’t hear people calling his name. He relies on sight, movement, vibration, routine, and the people around him to help him understand what’s happening.

That can be scary sometimes.

When Rocky becomes overwhelmed or startled unexpectedly, he may react by nipping at ankles. It’s not because he’s mean.

It’s because he can’t hear the world coming.

🐾 Forms deep bonds with people he trusts

Rocky needs a home without children and with people committed to helping him feel safe.

All of Teagan’s babies have found homes… 🥹🏡

And now this sweet mama is wondering…

At only 1–2 years old, Teagan has already done an amazing job raising her kittens. She gave them love, comfort, and a great start in life. ❤️🐱

Now that her kittens are gone, it’s finally time for Teagan to enjoy being the center of attention. 🌟

🐾 Meet Murphy! 🐾

Murphy is a 2-year-old Doodle looking for a loving home of his own.

This sweet boy can be a little shy at first, but once he gets to know you, he'll be your loyal shadow. Murphy loves being close to his people and is happiest curled up in your lap soaking up all the cuddles he can get. He also rides well in the car, making him a great companion for adventures.

Murphy has done okay with other dogs, but he takes some time to warm up to them. A meet and greet will be required with any potential canine siblings to ensure a good fit.

Murphy will need some help with potty training. 😬 The good news is that he's a smart boy, and with patience, consistency, and a little time, he should catch on quickly.

Murphy also struggles with some separation anxiety and would do best with a family that is home often or willing to work with him to help build his confidence when left alone. He bonds closely with his people and just wants to be near them.

If there were a dog show for “Most Likely to Look Like He Just Won Best in Show,” Opossum would be a serious contender. Just look at him! That handsome face, those soulful eyes, and that picture-perfect stance. 📸

Opossum is approximately 1 to 2 years old and has all the makings of an incredible companion.

✅ Good with other dogs
✅ Doesn’t mind cats
✅ Keeps his kennel clean
✅ Doesn’t mark indoors
✅ Loves his toys
✅ Handsome enough to make the other dogs jealous

This sweet boy is the total package. He’s young, well-mannered, and seems to take pride in keeping his space tidy. When he’s not showing off his good looks, he’s happily entertaining himself with his favorite toys.

Opossum has that easygoing personality that makes him a pleasure to be around, and we think he’s going to make one lucky family very happy.
