🚨🚨 CODE RED — WE ARE FULL 🚨🚨

The shelter is completely full, and we urgently need adopters.

It’s also Clear the Shelter Month, so adoption fees are reduced:

🐶 Dogs — $100
🐱 Cats — $25

Today we are focusing on our adoptable dogs. Each photo will include that dog’s individual stats, so please look through them, share them, and help us get these dogs seen.

When the shelter is this full, every adoption matters. Every share matters. Every open home matters.

These dogs need OUT of the shelter and INTO homes. They need space, safety, love, and someone willing to give them a chance.

If you have been thinking about adopting, NOW is the time.

If you can’t adopt, PLEASE SHARE. Your share may be the one that reaches the person who says, “That’s my dog.” ❤️🐾

🐾 MEET JIGGY! 🐾

Jiggy is a Bird Dog/Terrier mix who turns 9 on August 16th! 🎂❤️ And what better birthday present could there be than finally finding a foster or forever home?

He is just the sweetest little man. Jiggy loves people, belly rubs, attention, and gets along very well with other dogs. He’s also good with kids, although a home without toddlers would probably suit him best.

And Jiggy is definitely Mr. Social. 😂 If given the opportunity, he’ll happily take himself on a neighborhood meet-and-greet tour. Because of his wandering ways, Jiggy will need a secure fenced yard or to always be on a leash when outside. Tying him out is not a good option for him.

Jiggy can be a little timid, especially around yelling or loud noises, so he’d love a home where he can feel safe and settled.

He’s neutered, up to date on vaccinations, friendly, loving, and overall just a really good boy. 🥹🐾

🎉 Jiggy’s 9th birthday is August 16th. Let’s get this sweet boy into a home for his birthday!

🐾💗 MEET TAIGA! 💗🐾

This beautiful girl is Taiga, and right now she’s still a bit of a mystery wrapped in white fur and giant ears. 🥹

We believe Taiga is a Husky mix, possibly with Shepherd or Lab, but what we know for sure is that she is VERY, VERY shy. She’s going to need someone patient who understands that trust might come in tiny steps.

We’re still getting to know her, so we’ll share more as her personality starts to peek out. So far, she has done okay around cats and has also done well with one of our little Beagle puppies. Any resident dogs would still need a proper meet and greet.

🏡 A securely fenced backyard will be a must for Taiga. With a girl this timid, we want to make sure she always has a safe, secure place while she learns that the world isn’t quite so scary.

She may not be the dog who runs straight into your arms on day one. But sometimes the shy ones make you work a little harder for their heart, and when they finally decide you’re their person… that’s pretty special. ❤️

🐾💗 LET’S TALK ABOUT SWEET DOTTIE 💗🐾

While Teddie, Louie and Pally were busy blowing up the internet, sweet little Dottie watched all of her playmates leave with their new families. 🥹

And we have to ask…

How did the sweetest girl get left behind? 💔

Dottie is an adorable 8–10 month old Heeler/Terrier mix who will be around 20 pounds. She may not be the puppy who comes barreling up demanding all the attention. Dottie is a little shy at first, but give her a chance to feel safe and her sweet, playful personality starts to shine. ❤️

🐶 She LOVES playing with other dogs! A canine buddy could be so much fun for her. Very large dogs may be a little intimidating, though, so a meet & greet with resident dogs will be required.

🐱 Cats? She’s curious! She’s been around cats and seems more interested in figuring out what those strange little creatures are than anything else. 😂

👧 Kids? Because Dottie can be a little shy and hasn’t had much experience with small children, we think older, respectful kids would be the best fit.

And can we PLEASE talk about those ears?! 😍😂
They’re practically their own zip code.

🐾💙 MEET TEDDIE! 💙🐾

Could this little face BE any sweeter?! 🥹

Teddie is just 8–10 weeks old and believed to be a Border Collie/Cocker Spaniel mix. And his personality matches that adorable face because this little guy is as sweet as can be! ❤️

Teddie is currently safe and loved in a foster home, where he’s getting all the care and attention a little guy needs. But what he’s really waiting for is a family to call his very own. 🏡💙

He’s just a baby with his whole life ahead of him, and we’d love nothing more than to see that life begin with a forever family who will love him through every puppy adventure and all the years to come. 🐾

🐾 MEET DOTTIE! 🐾

Look at those ears! 😍 Dottie is an adorable 8–10 month old Heeler/Terrier mix weighing about 20 pounds, and she’s ready to find her forever family! 🏡❤️

Dottie is a sweet, playful little girl who loves having fun and being around her people. She loves other dogs and doesn’t seem to mind the cats in her foster home either. 🐶🐱

She hasn’t had experience around small children, so we think a home with older children would be the best fit for her.

At only 8–10 months old, Dottie still has plenty of puppy fun ahead of her. She’d love a family who will include her in their adventures, give her lots of playtime, and of course appreciate those spectacular satellite-dish ears. 😂❤️

🎉🐾 UPDATE: DOUBLE THE HAPPY! Louie AND Pally have both been ADOPTED! Two sweet boys, two forever families, and two very happy tails! ❤️🏡🐾

🐾 MEET LOUIE & PALLY! 🐾

Two adorable little guys, two very different personalities, and two forever homes waiting to happen. ❤️

These sweet boys are possibly Beagle/Terrier mixes and will likely grow to be medium-sized dogs. Of course, with rescue puppies, breed and adult size are always our best guess! 🐶❤️

🤎 Louie is the quieter of the pair and such a little lover. He’s sweet, gentle, and perfectly happy staying close to his people and soaking up attention. His little nose is always working, too! 😂 Louie loves taking his time sniffing and investigating everything around him. He has such a soft, easygoing personality and is the kind of puppy who quietly works his way right into your heart.

💙 Pally is the playful one! He’s a little bigger than Louie, curious about everything, and has a busy little brain. Give him a treat puzzle and he is ON THE JOB. 😂 He’ll keep working until he figures out how to get every last treat. He’s smart, food-motivated, playful, and would make such a fun little sidekick.

Both boys are currently living in a foster home, where they’re getting lots of love and attention while they wait for their forever families. 🏡❤️

🏕️🐾 MEET THE NATIONAL PARK KITTENS! 🐾🏕️

These four adorable little explorers were found at a campground and, thankfully, made their way into our care. They’ve been lucky enough to be fostered by our wonderful mama cat, Kingsley, who has helped them grow into the sweetest, most social kittens! ❤️

These babies are friendly, playful, cuddly, and full of personality. They’ve been socialized with children, cats, and dogs, so they’re ready to find families of their very own!

Born without a tail, but definitely not without personality! This little guy is as unique as his name.

🏔️ Sequoia – Tabby & white boy 🤎🤍
A handsome little explorer with a whole lot of kitten charm.

An adorable little boy who is ready to bring some fun and love into his forever home.

These four have been given a wonderful start thanks to their foster mama, Kingsley, and now they’re ready to leave the campground behind and explore life with their forever families! 🏡❤️

August is Clear the Shelter Month, and we’re celebrating by making it even easier to bring home a new feline friend! Throughout the month of August, cat adoption fees are just $25 with an approved application. 🐱❤️
