Strong response starts with strong readiness.

As we move toward 2026, MABAS is focused on Building Ready Response Capability across Illinois—especially in the rural and small-town communities that depend on volunteer and combination fire departments.

Readiness is built at every level:
🚒 Individual training and skills
🤝 Team coordination and specialty capabilities
🎖️ Leadership across Fire and EMA
🌐 Regional cooperation through mutual aid

When departments train together and plan together, they respond together—no matter the size of the incident.

What does readiness look like in your department or region right now?

Don't forget to go to the MABAS-IL.org website to register for the MABAS Training Summit, February 16-20, 2026 in Bloomington-Normal.
