ARCH 3 is based in Effingham, IL. We provide rapid critical care transport to patients in need and support the work of local public safety services.

We are here to provide quality critical care transport both for interfacility and scene calls. Tom has officially completed his third-rider orientation and reached another exciting milestone this evening — completing his first flight in second seat! 👏

To mark the occasion, Tom was presented with his flight wings by ARCH 3 Clinical Base Lead Tyler Trump.

TWO MEDICAL HELICOPTERS REQUESTED FOLLOWING MOTORCYCLE CRASH ON U.S. 50

MULTIPLE EMERGENCY AGENCIES WORKED AT THE SCENE FOR MORE THAN THREE HOURS

Multiple emergency agencies responded Sunday night to a two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle at the intersection of U.S. 50 and Country Club Road.

Emergency crews were dispatched at approximately 9:19 p.m.

Two medical helicopters were requested from ARCH Air Medical and AirLife Air Medical. The agencies’ posts did not indicate whether either helicopter transported a patient or provide information about the number or condition of those involved.

Lawrenceville High School Fire Science ’s Rescue 1 assisted crews by illuminating the crash scene and supporting landing-zone operations. The program reported that Rescue 1’s light tower proved beneficial during the response.

Other responding agencies included Lawrence Allison Fire, Lawrence County EMS, Bridgeport Fire Protection District, Lawrence County Emergency Management Agency, Lawrence County Illinois Sheriff's Department, Lawrenceville Police Department and Illinois State Police.

Crews operated at the scene for a little more than three hours and returned to service at approximately 12:31 a.m. Monday.

No information about the cause of the crash or the identities of those involved was included in the initial reports.

🐾 Happy National Dog Day from ARCH 3’s most frequent four-legged visitor! 🚁

Meet Buster, our unofficial, self-appointed base dog. 😂

Buster technically has a home of his own… but every now and then, he decides it’s time to clock in for a shift at ARCH 3. No schedule. No warning. No regard for whether his family knows he’s commuting to work. 🤦‍♀️😂

He may not actually belong to us, but at this point, he sure feels like part of the crew.

We had a BLAST at the Cumberland County Fair, Illinois derby last night! 🚗💥 Thanks to everyone who stopped by to say hi and hang out with the ARCH 3 crew!

We had so much fun hanging out with everyone at the Cumberland County Fair, Illinois and harness races last night, we decided we better come back for more! 🚁🎡

It’s been a BUSY Saturday for the ARCH 3 crew! 🚁☀️

Bryon, Angie, and Curt have been making the rounds today — starting at the Coles County Memorial Airport - MTO for the Coles County Farm Bureau Touch-a-Truck event 🚒🚑🚁🚜, then heading over for Monster Trucks on Day 1 of the Cumberland County Fair, Illinois! 🎡🏁 And don’t worry, we’ll be back at Cumberland County Fair all week long!

And they’re STILL going! 😅 The crew just landed for the final night of the Effingham County Fair! 🎡🚁

Lots of miles, lots of community events, and a whole lot of HEAT today — but we’re always thankful for the opportunity to get out, meet our communities, and spend time with the people we’re proud to serve. 💙
