The Royal School of Cosmetology has always been SUCH a great supporter of United Way of Effingham County! Their kindness continues to shine!

Be sure to join them Monday, August 10th from 2PM-7PM for free back to school haircuts! Donations welcome! All proceeds go back to Catholic Charities, a long time partner agency of ours! 💙

It's almost that time again! Summer is winding down, and it's time to get the kiddos ready to go back to school. Join Catholic Charities at The Royal School on Monday, August 10 from 2-7 p.m. for FREE back to school haircuts! First come, first served. Donations welcome, and all proceeds go to Catholic Charities.

Hi friends! We're hosting the United Way of Effingham County All American Drawdown to raise funds for the 2026 United Way of Effingham County Campaign that supports 21 nonprofits in Effingham County. These organizations provide health and human services to individuals right here in Effingham County. (Each year we do an application and review process to ensure our funds are helping those in our own communities!) Without United Way dollars, these organizations wouldn't be able to provide the services that they do. I like to say that we spend the time fundraising so they can focus their time on providing their services to those in need!

We're looking for your support! We're looking for sponsors and donations for this event. If you're interested in sponsoring or giving an item to be on the live / silent auction or as a Drawdown Prize (This is a reverse raffle it's SO fun! The grand prize is $2,500!), please reach out! Details included in the photos of this post.

Parents, we can all relate right? (I hope we can all relate and it's not JUST me and Brian. 😅 PS I don't even have twins. SOS)

Join us Friday at Tuscan Hills Winery! Effingham Comedy is bringing in Brian Hicks and we are prepared for a night FULL of laughs! All while supporting an excellent cause!

Get the babysitter.. leave those kids at home. Let's have a good night with good food and drinks! (I hear there's wine slushies?)

🌪 Tornado Relief 🌪

If you were affected by the tornado or were a business who supported those affected by the tornado and could use these items, please contact the United Way office for pick up!

Our friends at ESS Clean has graciously donated some items to support tornado victims in a time of need.

We have many, many boxes of the mop heads and size small rubber gloves available. There's also a of size 2 diapers and some baby wipes available for those who need them!

We are still so blown away from the support far and wide to help our friends and neighbors LIVE UNITED.
