Katelyn is a SA Counselor at Heartland Human Services. She graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in social work. Why did she choose social work? Let Katie tell you why...

Heartland Human Services, a local leader in behavioral healthcare services, is seeking full-time Behavioral Health Technicians to join our team. These multi-faceted positions provide independent living services to consumers within a residential setting. The successful candidates will provide life lesson coaching in a non-restrictive environment.

Necessary skill set includes solving conflict, maintaining confidentiality, communicating in a positive manner, demonstrating the ability to male timely decisions and using time efficiently. First shift (7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.) and second shift (3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.) positions are available. High school diploma/GED required. Position starts at $16.10 per hour.
