UPDATE: BOIL ADVISORY FOR THESE ROADS IS LIFTED!!

Redbird Rd, Beaver Rd. and part of Istre Rd. will be turned off for repairs on the flush! Boil Advisory for that area will be in effect once the water is turned back on!!

We are working diligently to solve this issue of discolored water on the South side/Egan Water #2. After doing further investigation into the problem, we have found that with the two wells we have on that side we have noticed that one well produces more natural iron than the other well so in the treating process you can only have the pumps set at one level and not adjust to treat a different level when the well with the higher natural iron is running. We have recently stopped running the well with the higher level of natural iron to see if this helps the issue. We also have LDH and LRWA coming in to help so we can find the exact culprit to get the problem fixed for good. As soon as we have more information on what is going on and we solve the problem we will update.
