During our Monday Night Drill, Junior and Probationary members of the company got acclimated to SCBA’s and their gear as they prepare for Fire School. Members were led and assisted by two of our firefighters.

The Germania Volunteer Fire Company sends our deepest condolences to our brothers and sisters of the Malaga Fire Company, as well as friends and family on the loss of Probationary Firefighter Robert “Bobby” Reider. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. Rest Easy Brother, we'll take it from here.

Every year the fire company offers 2 $500 scholarships to students at Cedar Creek and Absegami. The student needs to be pursuing an education at an institution of higher learning in the coming year. To be able to apply the student needed to have performed community service and submit an essay stating what community service means to them and why they should be selected. This years winner from Cedar Creek was Sophia Montag, we had the honor of presenting her with her certificate the other night at Cedar Creeks Senior Awards Ceremony.

Please come join us for some family fun, activities, music, etc. We are also selling Challenge Coins for $10.00 a coin. We are also selling shirts ($20), cups ($4), mugs ($20), and that’s while supplies last. Please contact any member if you are interested.

PSA - All Items are CASH ONLY tomorrow. We have had a few questions about purchasing tickets for the event. No tickets are needed to enter the event, come out and have a great time celebrating!

These will be for sale Saturday along with mugs, and challenge coins while supplies last. We also will have a beer cup for purchase which will then get you free refills with that cup. Along with all the stuff to purchase we will also have free food, bounce houses, and live music by the Mots Creek Pickers. Come out for some family fun!
