"Students with disabilities need access to school, special education services, accommodations, accessibility, and civil rights enforcement under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Moving that work across separate departments risks more confusion, longer delays, and less accountability for families and schools."

Crystal Iannuzzelli, Adult Day Program Supervisor, and Brianna Jones, Residential Manager, recently completed frontline supervisor training at The Boggs Center at Rutgers in New Brunswick.

Crystal and Brianna had the opportunity to collaborate with staff from various agencies across the state, sharing insights and learning from one another.

On May 30, staff and individuals in The Arc's Supportive Living program attended the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Atlantic County at the Egg Harbor Township Police Athletic League.

Tom got to ring the gong on the Survivor's lap and everyone enjoyed tug of war, games, a wing eating contest, and more.
