REMINDER:
2026 NJ Property Tax Relief Applications
New Jersey’s 2026 property tax relief filing season is underway, and eligible residents should make sure they don’t miss the November 2, 2026 deadline.
🏠 PAS-1: Seniors 65+ and residents receiving Social Security or Railroad Retirement disability benefits can use one application to apply for Senior Freeze, ANCHOR and Stay NJ.
🏡 ANCHOR: Most eligible homeowners and renters under 65 will have their applications automatically filed. Notices of auto-filing began being mailed on August 10, 2026. If you are not auto-filed, you can submit an application online or by mail.
Applications can be filed online through New Jersey’s official property tax relief website, or by paper application where applicable. Remember—eligible seniors and disabled residents must file the PAS-1 themselves; it is not automatically filed for them.
