Community Engagement:

The Egg Harbor Township Police Department partnered with our local South Jersey Vet Center to provide police department resources for their family day celebration for their clients and families. Out of respect for many local veterans who receive services at the Vet Center, photographs of those in attendance are not shown, with the exception of the one veteran pictured, Fred Spano Sr., who didn’t have a choice with the posting of his photograph😊. Sergeant Ben Kollman, Traffic Officers Louis “Nick” Poletis, Thomas Rizzotte, K-9 Officer Matt Collins and his partner Raiden, Professional Staff members Madeline Muniz and Dungkha (Jesse) Vo, and Chief Spano were happy to be there for our local veterans and their families.

Congratulations to Officer Bill Burns on his promotion to Sergeant and Detective Sergeant Rich Vogt on his promotion to Lieutenant.

We also proudly recognized Captain Cherie Burgan for an incredible 25 years of dedicated service to our department and our community.

🇺🇸 Honoring Our Veterans Through Partnership & Service 🇺🇸

The Egg Harbor Township Police Department was proud to partner with the Atlantic County Veterans Board to help relocate a special veterans bench from the former Atlantic County VA Clinic in Northfield to the new Atlantic County VA Clinic in Linwood.

This bench represents more than a place to sit — it represents service, sacrifice, remembrance, and the enduring commitment our community has to those who served our nation.

On December 22, 2025, the Wilmington VA Medical Center’s Atlantic County VA Clinic officially relocated from Northfield to a new, state-of-the-art facility at 1201 New Road in Linwood. At more than 20,000 square feet, the new clinic is more than twice the size of the former facility and will allow the VA to expand services for our growing South Jersey veteran population.

We are proud to work alongside the Atlantic County Veterans Board, the VA, and our community partners to support the men and women who have sacrificed so much for all of us.

🇺🇸 Service never ends when the uniform comes off. Our commitment to our veterans never ends either.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this transition possible, and congratulations on this exciting new chapter for our South Jersey veterans.

Egg Harbor Township Police Department — Proud to Serve Those Who Served. 🇺🇸

Thank you, Egg Harbor Township, for making National Night Out 2026 another incredible success!

Last night was a true celebration of what makes our community special—neighbors connecting with neighbors, families making memories, and partnerships that continue to strengthen the bond between our police department and the people we proudly serve.

A sincere thank you to all of our law enforcement, fire, EMS, public safety, and community partners who joined us, along with our outstanding vendors and local organizations whose support helped make this event possible.

Together, we continue to build a safer, stronger, and more connected Egg Harbor Township. We appreciate everyone who came out and spent the evening with us. We look forward to seeing you again next year!
