Refurbished inside and out, the Bookmobile is now at its new home with our friends at Horseshoe Bay Farms. A vehicle that impacted thousands of lives here at a place that was a part of thousands of lives here. We are proud to have saved and helped preserve this incredible piece of history and education and look forward to what’s next!

This Saturday we'll be celebrating the history and future of the bookmobile at Sawyer Farms! Here's a fun look back at what it was like driving the bookmobile around the county. "The kids were fun. They’d take half an hour just looking over the books, flipping through them, reading some of the shorter ones. The schools had to put a time limit on how long they could be inside the bookmobile.”
