🎉 Our Most Anticipated Montana Trips for 2025 🎉

We’re hoping to visit many different parts of Montana this year, but these are the 5 places we’re most looking forward to:

⛷ Skiing at Teton Pass Ski Resort - After their season got cut way too short last year, we’re thrilled to see how much snow’s been falling on Teton lately. It’s a hill that’s never crowded, has affordable lift tickets, and offers gorgeous scenery. We can’t wait to hit the slopes up there!

❄ Snowshoeing in Glacier National Park - Glacier is awe-inspiring at any time of year, but as we all know, it’s also shockingly crowded in the summer. Come winter, though, Glacier feels like a hidden gem. And we’re planning to finally do one of their guided snowshoe hikes this year!

🥾 Hiking on the CDT - We consider ourselves something akin to thru-hiking groupies or at least wannabe trail angels, but the only time we’ve ever been on the Continental Divide Trail was volunteering at a trail maintenance day last summer. This is the year for an actual hike!

🖼 Visiting the Three Chiefs Cultural Center - Formerly known as The People’s Center, this museum in Pablo burned down in a horrific arson fire in 2020. Fortunately, not all of the artifacts were damaged, and the museum has since re-opened. We’re looking forward to visiting on our next trip to the Flathead area!

⛺️ Camping at Medicine Rocks State Park - We’re getting close to completing our quest to visit every Montana state park, and Medicine Rocks is the most exciting of the ones we have left. It’s full of fascinating and unusual rock formations that we can’t wait to see!

Attention: To those planning on joining us tonight (July 25) at Medicine Rocks State Park, we are going forward with yoga at 8 p.m. and the bat walk at 9 p.m. BUT, the cloud cover will make it impossible to see the stars. Instead, we will have a fossil fluorescence demonstration and discussion following the bat walk. Hope to see you there!
