Warmer temperatures are expected across our region for the rest of this week. Because Cajon Valley Union School District spans more than 60 square miles, conditions may vary from school to school.
To ensure the safety and comfort of students and staff, each school principal will have the authority and discretion to implement an extreme weather schedule if temperatures at their site warrant adjustments. If changes are necessary, your school will communicate directly with families.
We encourage families to help students prepare for the heat by:
• Bring a refillable water bottle
• Wearing light, comfortable clothing
• Applying sunscreen if appropriate
Our schools will continue to monitor conditions closely and take appropriate steps to keep students safe.
