In Mrs. Hopper’s Principles of Health Science class, students learned about different types of wounds. They participated in a fun activity called “Build the Wound,” during which they used clay to create a specific type of wound. Each student identified and named their assigned wound, researched its characteristics and treatment, and then presented their findings to the class. This hands-on, tactile lesson helped students better understand how to identify wounds and provide proper care, making the learning experience both interactive and engaging.

⚽️ HUGE shoutout to Tyson Vasquez! Back in the spring, Ricebird Soccer went head-to-head with the US Army in a series of intense physical challenges at Ricebird Stadium. Tyson absolutely crushed it and earned the title of "Army Strong Player of the Day!"

🎉 We're excited to share that Sophia Perez shone at the UIL State solo and ensemble competition on May 23rd, earning a silver medal with a score of 2!

🌟 Additionally, Daniela Rodriguez showcased her incredible talent at the UIL State Theatrical Design contest on May 16th, proudly placing 5th for her hair and makeup design.
