Help us decide… which shift was the MOST creative? 👀

Our job can be demanding and fast-paced, so every now and then we take a moment for a little team-building and stress relief. A little creativity, a lot of laughs, and strong teamwork always remind us why we love what we do.

El Campo EMS was proud to be part of Career Day at El Campo High School! 🎓

We had the opportunity to speak with students about careers in EMS, the pathways available to them, and how they can make a meaningful impact while serving their community. 🚑

The future looks bright, and we look forward to seeing some of these students wearing an EMS uniform one day! 🚨

Big Thanks to Paramedic Medrano and AEMT Horelica for representing El Campo EMS. 🫡

Join us in congratulating our own EMS Captain, Mark Appling, on being named the 2026 Wharton County Youth Fair Ag Day Banquet Cattleman of the Year!

This recognition is a testament to Mark’s dedication, hard work, and deep roots in the agricultural community. Whether he’s serving patients on an ambulance or working cattle, he brings the same level of commitment, integrity, and pride to everything he does.

In many ways, EMS and agriculture share the same values—long hours, unpredictable days, and a willingness to show up when it matters most. Both require resilience, strong work ethic, and a heart for serving others. Mark exemplifies those qualities every day, both in our EMS service and out in the pasture.

We are proud to have him as a leader in our organization and even more proud to see him recognized for his impact beyond EMS.

Congratulations, Captain Appling—well deserved!

🚨🚑🚨One of the realities of Rural EMS is that the nearest hospital—or a safe landing zone for a medical helicopter—may be miles away. That’s where teamwork comes in. We’re grateful for our strong partnership with our local Fire Departments who help us quickly coordinate landing zones when seconds matter most. Working together, we help bring advanced care closer to our community. 🚨 🚁🚨

McKelvy and Medrano have recently returned home after a week-long deployment to North Texas, where they served alongside an All Hazards Weather Team supporting wildfire response efforts.

We are proud of their dedication, professionalism, and willingness to answer the call when Texas needs it most.

We are honored to be part of EMTF Region 6, standing ready to support our fellow Texans wherever and whenever we are needed.

Welcome home, and thank you both for representing our community so well! 🚑🔥

Rain 🌧️ or freezing ❄️ temps may pause us, but dedication never does. 💪

As soon as that sun broke through this afternoon, our crew wasted no time getting after it. Clean rigs, sharp crews, and pride in every detail — that’s how we roll! 🚑🚨
