Dear Imperial Valley Community,

Though the recent election did not turn out as we hoped, my dedication to serving our community remains steadfast. I am deeply grateful for the support you have shown, and I am inspired every day by our shared vision for a better future. 🌱

I am excited to announce that I will continue to serve our community in significant roles: as the Chairman of the Imperial County Overall Economic Development Commission (OEDC) and as a member of the Imperial County Behavioral Health Advisory Board. These positions allow me to focus on enhancing our economic development and supporting the health and well-being of our residents. 📈🧠

In my role with the OEDC, I am tasked with leading the update of the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) for our valley. This strategy is crucial for our growth and sustainability, focusing on creating opportunities that benefit all of us here in Imperial Valley. 🏗️

As a member of the Behavioral Health Advisory Board, I am committed to addressing the mental health needs of our community, advocating for resources and programs that support everyone’s well-being. 💚

Your trust and support motivate me to keep pushing forward, to keep making a difference. Together, let’s continue to work towards a thriving, healthy Imperial Valley.

I had a fantastic time at Cross Elementary celebrating Dr. Seuss Reading Day! 📚 Engaging with the enthusiastic fifth-grade students across three different classes was an absolute joy.

Reflecting on Dr. Seuss’s wise words,

“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go,” today was not just about reading but also about inspiring young minds to explore and learn.

It’s days like these that remind us of the importance of literacy and education in shaping our future generations.

Big congratulations to the City of Imperial for hosting a fantastic event last night, all for a great cause – Humane Society of Imperial County! 🎉🐕

My team shared that the atmosphere was electric, thanks to an amazing 90s tribute band. It was wonderful to hear about the community coming together, enjoying great music and food, in perfect weather, and of course, spending time with adorable puppies. As an animal lover, I’m thrilled to hear about events like this that support such a vital cause.
