🔥 Sparks were flying at the Welding Skills Event hosted by Brawley Union High School on April 29, 2026!

Students from Holtville High School, Calipatria High School, and BUHS came together to showcase their welding talents, teamwork, and technical skills in a hands-on competition aligned with industry standards. 🔧👨‍🏭👩‍🏭

Participants competed in MIG and stick welding challenges, demonstrated blueprint accuracy and weld quality, and worked together to fabricate a functional rocket stove. Their projects were evaluated by local industry professionals who helped make this experience meaningful and career-connected.

A huge thank you to BHE Renewables for generously donating over $1,000 in welding gear to support student learning and future success! 🙌

Students explored creativity through hands-on sensory art activities that encouraged imagination, self-expression, and fun learning experiences. From colorful textures to creative designs, everyone had a great time creating and connecting! 🖌️🌈

Take a break and join us for another relaxing night of Yoga & Sound Bath! 🧘✨ All ECESD families are welcome for an evening of relaxation, wellness, and connection as we recognize Mental Health Awareness Month and the importance of taking time to care for ourselves and each other.

Hosted at Lincoln Elementary School in partnership with IVROP IVSSSP.

Last week, IVROP-IVSSSP in collaboration with Sunflower Elementary hosted a relaxing and restorative Yoga & Sound Bath session for our families and community. 🧘‍♀️✨

Participants had the opportunity to unwind, recharge, and focus on mindfulness through movement, breathing exercises, and calming sound healing.
