🚨 Stephen Harris Park Renovation Update 🚨

Meet the team keeping the Community Park Pool safe this summer! ☀️🏊

Our new and returning lifeguards have officially completed orientation and are ready for the season ahead. From sharpening their skills to practicing emergency scenarios and building teamwork, they've put in the work to prepare for a safe and fun summer at the pool.

What a great day at the pond! 🎣🐟

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our annual Fishing Derby this past Saturday. We were blown away by the incredible turnout and loved seeing so many families spending the morning outdoors together.

For many of the kids, this was their very first time casting a line, and there was nothing better than watching their excitement as they learned a new skill, and created memories with friends and family. From the early morning anticipation to the proud smiles at the end of the event, it was a day to remember.

A big thank you to the El Dorado County Fish and Game Commission, the Serrano HOA, and our sponsor, State Farm Agent Nick Bertetta, for their support of this year’s Fishing Derby.

We had so much fun and can’t wait to do it again next year!

💦 SPLASH PAD UPDATE AND FREE ADMISSION TO COMMUNITY POOL 💦

Well... that wasn’t part of the summer plan. 😅

The splash pad at Peter Bertelsen Memorial Park is currently down due to an unexpected issue.

In the meantime, we’ve got a couple of ways to help everyone stay cool:

- Visit the splash pad at Promontory Park (2700 Alexandra Drive) open 10 am - 8 pm daily

- Enjoy FREE admission to Community Pool this Saturday and Sunday as a small thank you for your patience and understanding.

We’ll share updates on the splash pad as soon as we have more information. Until then, grab your swimsuit, make a splash at Community Pool, and enjoy a fun weekend in the sun!

Big changes are coming to Stephen Harris Park! 🚧

Construction will begin on Monday, June 8, bringing new pickleball courts, tennis courts, a full basketball court, and other park improvements.

Hear from Parks & Recreation Director Ryan Kukkola and Principal Planner Daniel Savala as they share what residents can expect during construction, which areas will be impacted, and what’s ahead for the park.

Please note that Community Pool will be closed on the morning and afternoon of Friday, June 5 for Lap Swim, Afternoon Rec Swim, and TAZ Swim Practices (EDH TAZ).

🏊Evening Rec Swim will still take place from 7:15 PM – 9 PM.
