This page is dedicated as a community service to El Dorado Hills and surrounding area residents. We are trained to handle calls in various disciplines such as: structure, wildland, and vehicle fires, advanced medical emergencies, vehicle accidents, rope rescue, hazardous materials management, animal rescue, public assistance, snake removal, water rescue, fire investigations, vehicle lockout, and

many more. Each station is strategically placed in our community to be an integral part of the local area. We offer blood pressure checks, issue door-yard burn permits and offer station tours. All stations are designated as a Safe Place for children and adults that are in danger, as well as Safe Surrender for babies. In addition to emergency management, we take pride in being involved in multiple community events such as: the Every 15 Minutes Program, Toys for Tots and medical coverage at local football games. Every holiday season, our premier event known as the Santa Run brings Santa, Mrs. Claus and running elves to many neighborhoods collecting Toys for Tots and food for families in need, while spreading cheer and handing out candy canes. This page is monitored and managed by members of the El Dorado Hills Fire Department. Comments posted to this site will be monitored during regular business hours. TEMPORARY BURN SUSPENSION ALERT
Due to forecasted windy conditions and increased fire danger, CAL FIRE Amador-El Dorado Unit (AEU) has temporarily suspended all outdoor burning within the State Responsibility Areas (SRA) of Amador, El Dorado, Alpine, Sacramento, and San Joaquin Counties.

Effective: 12:01 a.m. Friday, June 5
Through: 11:59 p.m. Sunday, June 7

This temporary suspension is intended to reduce the risk of wildfire ignitions and rapid fire spread during a period of elevated fire danger. CAL FIRE will continue to monitor weather and fuel conditions and will provide updates as they become available. Please avoid activities that could generate sparks or start a fire, and remain vigilant during this period of heightened wildfire risk.

Thank you for doing your part to help protect our communities.

Please join us for this important presentation. At tSierra Chaplaincy, we respond to requests from both the El Dorado County Sheriff's Department and the Folsom Police Department for fentanyl related deaths at an alarming rate. Many of these victims are under 25 years old and succumb to accidental overdoses after being offered counterfeit Xanax or Hydrocodone pills given to them unknowingly by acquaintances. According to the CDC, this synthetic op**te has killed between 48k and 52k adults, ages 25 to 64, over the past 12-month rolling period throughout the U.S. Please come and learn about the many ways to prevent your children and loved ones from falling victim to this growing epidemic in our communities. Admission is free and open to the public.
