⚠️PRESS RELEASE⚠️ On July 23rd, 2025, the El Dorado Hills Community Services District (CSD) Board of Directors voted 3-1 to purchase the second half of the Old Executive Golf Course, in response to overwhelming support from El Dorado Hills residents.
Following this decision, there was a threat of litigation that forced a sixty-day wait period from Umpqua Bank, the initial banking partner, which would exceed the expiration date of the purchase agreement. This caused the CSD to pivot to another banking partner.
The deal closed with River City Bank offering the same competitive rates as Umpqua. A special board meeting was held on September 4th to authorize the change to River City Bank, and that action received a 4-0 vote of the board.
