On to the next round!

In March, Alec Farran was selected by a panel of judges from other co-ops to represent Sac Osage Electric Cooperative in Washington D.C. as a Youth Tour Delegate.

While attending the Youth Tour Banquet this evening in Columbia, Youth Tour Director Chris Massman announced Alec was picked as a finalist for the YLC (Youth Leadership Council) to possibly represent Missouri on the national level. Making it to the finals is a huge achievement. Alec was 1 of the 6 finalists chosen from 31 applicants.

Pictured below is Sac Osage Electric Cooperative Member Service Representative Chance Cyr and wife Janelle. Also to see Alec off for his trip to Washington D.C. were close family friends, Jeremy and Renea Hayes.

Congratulations Alec! We hope you have a great week in D.C.

As always, if you see any downed power lines, please stay as far away as possible and report the location of the downed lines immediately.

Although we do try to monitor what we can during storms, our social media accounts and website are not monitored 24 hours a day. Please avoid reporting outages through these accounts.

We currently have a line outage in the Walker area.

This outage has been restored.

We currently have a line outage in the Stockton area. We have received information this outage has been caused by a tree falling into the line. We have crews enroute to clear the tree from the line.

ALL OUTAGES HAVE BEEN RESTORED!

Update 7:41pm: our lineman have restored all but approximately 5 members! They will continue to finsh restoring these last few members before going back home for the evening. Thank you all for your patience!

Update 7:23pm: Our linemen have restored approximately half of the members without power! They are making progress and working hard to get power restored as soon as they can.

We are currently receiving outage calls due to the storms pushing through our service area.

You can definitely see the path of the tornado warned storm.
