🦉📚 Superhero Story Time Success! 📚🦉

Our little Defenders had quite the adventure today! We hit the trail with Little Blue Truck: Lost and Found (beep beep! 🚙) and couldn't resist finding out what happens when you Don't Push the Button — those kiddos were SO tempted! 🔴

But here's the really exciting part: we discovered that animals are nature's ALERT Defenders! 🐿️🦌 From owls watching over the forest to squirrels sounding the alarm, our woodland friends showed us what it means to stay aware and look out for others.

Then our heroes got crafty, making their very own superhero bracelets featuring woodland animals — a wearable reminder that they can be Alert Defenders too! 💪🐾

A big thank you to all our story time families for joining us. We'll see YOU next week! 🎉

Toddler Time Wrap-Up! 🍂🚙

Today's Toddler Time hit the trail with "Little Blue Truck Lost and Found" and "The Busy Little Squirrel" by Nancy Tafuri! Our littlest readers loved following along as the squirrels scurried and the Little Blue Truck rolled through the fall season.

We got movin' and shakin' with bubbles (always a favorite!), then wrapped up by making our very own Woodland Animal Bracelets — such a fun way to take the forest friends home!

A cozy-sized group today, but oh my, some friends were FULL of wiggles and giggles — which is exactly what toddler time is all about! 💛

See you next week, friends!

Every year in the Kanshare consortium, we have KanRead! Each library has a fun event planned around a single theme and this year's theme is "Through the Decades"!
The next event is all about the Dockum Drug Store Sit-in at Bradford Memorial Library on October 7th!

When cell phones are banned at their school, students start communicating through sticky notes left all over the school, triggering a wave of bullying activities in the wake of a new girl's arrival.

🎨🍂 Today's Make & Take Craft Day was FOIL of fun! Our kiddos created gorgeous fall foil art — a little shine and a whole lot of creativity! Love watching their masterpieces sparkle almost as much as their smiles. 🍁
