We are so excited to celebrate David J Powell & Associates, LLC as our Business of the Month!

This family-owned insurance company has been a trusted part of the El Dorado community for nearly 50 years, helping businesses with small and large group insurance since March 1977. Their dedication to serving local families, businesses, and organizations is something truly special.

David J. Powell & Associates is also incredibly involved with the El Dorado Chamber. You can always count on them to show up, whether they are attending Chamber Chat, sponsoring Chamber events, donating to local causes, or finding meaningful ways to give back.

During our visit, David even sent our Chamber staff and Ambassadors home with peach tree saplings from his own peach orchard. The saplings had dropped last year, and he nurtured them until they were ready to find new homes with each of us.

David J. Powell & Associates has also provided LifeVacs to the El Dorado Police Department, helping equip our first responders with life-saving tools.

Coutts Museum of Art is right here in downtown El Dorado at 110 N. Main St., and admission is free!

This local gem features rotating exhibits, educational programs, community events, and artwork that helps bring creativity, history, and culture to life. From youth art opportunities to concerts and gallery exhibits, Coutts is a wonderful place to explore, learn, and be inspired.

We’re proud to have Coutts Museum of Art as part of our Chamber community. Stop in, take a look around, and enjoy one of El Dorado’s local treasures!

Having a hometown hospital ensures that healthcare services are conveniently available when people need them and saves the time and expense of traveling to receive services elsewhere.

Support the special sales tax on the ballot August 4 to support Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital.

Bradford Library will be hosting a special art activity tomorrow, Wednesday the 17th, at 6:00 p.m. in celebration of America’s 250th anniversary.
