Honoring a Remarkable Legacy

As we announce the retirement of our 911 Director, Sally Pittser, we celebrate a career that is woven into the very foundation of our center. When the vision of a combined communications center was first imagined, Sally stepped into the role of Director and helped transform that vision into reality.

Sally has been more than a director—she has been our flagship leader, our steady voice in times of uncertainty, and a guiding force behind the success of our agency. From the earliest days of planning and growth, she was there helping build the center, shape its culture, and establish the standards of excellence that continue to define us today.

Her experience, wisdom, and dedication have left an enduring mark on our organization and the countless lives touched through her work. Throughout her career, she led with strength, compassion, and an unwavering belief in the people around her.

Sally cared deeply for this team, and that care was returned many times over. She inspired us, supported us, and helped us become better every day. Her voice, her leadership, and her commitment to excellence will be felt long after her retirement.

While we will miss her presence, we celebrate the extraordinary legacy she leaves behind and wish her a retirement filled with happiness, adventure, and all the rewards she so richly deserves.

Thank you, Sally, for helping turn an idea into an institution, for leading with heart, and for leaving our center stronger for having you over it. We loved working beside you, and we will always be grateful for the legacy you leave behind.
