Flore médicale is a renowned 19th-century French botanical and medical work created by François-Pierre Chaumeton, Jean-Louis Marie Poiret, and Jean-Baptiste-Joseph Chamberet, published in Paris between 1814 and 1835. This influential, multi-volume herbal is famous for its detailed, hand-colored copper engravings of medicinal plants, many created by artists Pierre Jean François Turpin and Mme. E. Panckoucke. It served as a crucial historical resource for the study of botanical medicine, pharmacology, and art history from the early 1800s.
