Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers, grandmothers, godmothers, aunties, caregivers, and mother figures who lead with love, strength, sacrifice, and compassion. 🌸💖

Today we celebrate the women who nurture dreams, lift others through difficult times, and inspire generations with their kindness and resilience. A mother’s love is one of the greatest gifts in the world — it teaches us hope, courage, and the true meaning of unconditional love.

To every woman who has ever offered guidance, comfort, encouragement, or a caring heart — thank you for making this world brighter and better. Your impact reaches farther than you may ever know.

May today be filled with love, appreciation, beautiful memories, and the reminder that you are deeply valued and cherished. Wishing everyone a joyful, peaceful, and love-filled Mother’s Day. 💐✨

Wishing everyone had a meaningful and joyful Cinco de Mayo! Today is a celebration of culture, resilience, community, and the strength that comes from standing together.

May this day remind us to appreciate our shared history, uplift one another, and continue building bridges of understanding, kindness, and opportunity for future generations. Every culture adds beauty, flavor, and strength to our communities, and today is a wonderful reminder to celebrate that diversity with pride and gratitude.

As we gather with friends, family, and community, let us continue spreading love, positivity, and unity wherever we go. Together, we can create a brighter and more compassionate world for all.

Happy Cinco de Mayo! 🇲🇽✨

Proud to be a member of the Stop Hate Steering Committee. As we continue to host conscious/unconscious bias and allyship workshops, we remain committed to bringing more love, peace, understanding, and unity into our communities. Change begins with education, compassion, and the willingness to listen and learn from one another. Together, we can build a more inclusive and respectful world for everyone.

So wonderful to be at the Welcome for Math Field Day 2026 along with other board member! This year, we’re excited to have 50 students participating, what an incredible milestone, and I’m hopeful we’ll see even more students join us next year.

One of the most meaningful moments today was seeing a coach proudly wearing a Math Field Day T-shirt from 2005, she was a student back then. It’s such a powerful reminder of how these experiences come full circle and continue to inspire the next generation.

Wishing every student a successful and rewarding day! And I have to say, the jokes shared this morning definitely helped lighten the mood and bring smiles all around. 😊

One of my favorite parts of serving on the education board is visiting our schools. There’s nothing quite like seeing firsthand the growth of our students and the incredible dedication of our teachers. Moments like these are a reminder of why this work matters so much.

Today, we had the opportunity to visit La Primaria, from TK through 3rd grade. Watching our youngest learners build their foundation is truly inspiring. When we invest in them early, creating supportive, engaging environments, we set them up for success not just in the next grade, but for years to come. I especially loved seeing our Calm Corner, a thoughtful space that supports students social-emotional well–being and helps them reset, reflect, and thrive.

As our students move from 4th through 8th grade, every step along the way matters. If we continue to strengthen their learning experiences and provide the right support at each level, there’s no limit to what they can achieve.

Our kids are already incredible—and together, we’re helping them become even better. 💙

Since 2014, Jennifer has been faithfully serving our unhoused neighbors through Vision Possible Ministry with extraordinary compassion and dedication. What began humbly on the sidewalk grew in 2016 when a generous business owner offered their parking lot so the ministry could expand its outreach.

Since then, Jennifer has continued providing hot meals, support, and hope week after week, rain or shine, serving approximately 70 to 100+ individuals from the streets each time.

Her unwavering commitment to uplifting those in need is truly inspiring. For over a decade, she has shown what servant leadership and community love look like in action.

And we are proud to share that she will be expanding her service even further later this year, continuing to grow her impact and reach even more people in need.

Thank you, Jennifer, for your incredible heart, tireless dedication, and for being a beacon of hope to so many. Your service is changing lives.

Today we honor Dolores Huerta Day. Celebrating a trailblazing civil rights leader, labor activist, and champion for justice whose lifelong advocacy has inspired generations.

Her powerful words, “Sí, se puede” (“Yes, we can”), continue to remind us that change is possible when communities unite with courage and purpose.

Let us recognize her legacy by uplifting workers, empowering women, defending civil rights, and continuing the work of building a more just and equitable future for all.

Happy Dolores Huerta Day! ✨💪🏽🌹

On AANHPI Women’s Equal Pay Day, we reflect on the persistent wage gap that continues to impact our communities. For every dollar earned by white, non-Hispanic men, AANHPI women earn just 83 cents.

That’s why I’ll continue the fight for AANHPI women to be recognized, respected, and paid fairly for the work they do.

✨ Grateful, Inspired, and Moving Forward ✨

I hope everyone had a beautiful and meaningful Easter filled with reflection, renewal, and hope. 🌸

This season reminds us that no matter the challenges we face, there is always an opportunity for new beginnings. It’s a time to reconnect with what truly matters, faith, family, community, and purpose.

Let’s carry that spirit forward. Let’s continue to uplift one another, spread kindness, and be a light in our communities. Even the smallest acts of love can create the biggest impact.

Here’s to fresh starts, renewed strength, and brighter days ahead. 💛
