We need your help to protect families like ours!

Wesley Lawrence For District 4 has been one of the only local elected officials to stand with and protect our LGBTQIA+ families in El Paso.

While Abbott and his cronies banned gender-affirming care, attacked drag queens, and put a target on our backs leaders like Wesley stood up to protect us!
He got to work to draft local ordinances and policies:

- Deprioritize the enforcement of those seeking and providing gender-affirming care.
- Create an El Paso Safer Together Program to keep our families safe.
- Create an office of equality and an Equality and Equity board.

Wesley cares about our community because he’s in our community. We hope you will join us at his meet and greet tomorrow.

One of the questions we constantly get is how can we make an impact in our community, well it starts by supporting those running at the local level who support us!

We have two candidates running for city council who have always gone above and beyond to protect and defend our local LGBTQIA+ community, whenever we have questions they never hesitate to answer honestly and openly.

Please consider chipping in and supporting Wesley Lawrence For District 4 and Kenneth Bell for City Council District 3.

Kenneth Bell - has his birthday fundraiser coming up on July 23rd at Old Sheepdog Brewery at 6PM. This is a great way to meet Kenneth and learn how you can help him win this Nov!

Wesley Lawrence- is the only candidate who has truly gone above and beyond for our local LGBTQIA+ community. After Greg Abbott and TX Republicans launched an all out war against families like ours, he rolled up his sleeves and got to work drafting life saving policy at the local level in collaboration with Rep Casandra Hernandez. He is having his fundraiser / filling party July 25th at 6:00 PM at tsunami_sushi_ep. Come meet and learn about how you can help him win this Nov!

Older Hispanic/Latinx individuals in the US & its territories encounter specific cultural, linguistic, medical, and systemic barriers that are compounded with their HIV prevention & treatment needs. By elevating their voices, we aim to address these challenges and advocate for the care and support they deserve.

Community partners, and civic and community leaders, will come together to highlight the urgent need to elevating the voices of older Hispanic/Latinx communities to ensure their specific needs are meet to reach positive health outcomes for all. It is also important to promote awareness around the impact of stigma, ageism, discrimination, homophobia, and transphobia in our communities.

We ask that community partners come to recognize the 1st ever National Hispanic/Latinx Older Adults & HIV/AIDS Awareness Day.
