With overflowing love and boundless gratitude, we reflect on the incredible life of Roxanne Heard Parker—a shining light whose warmth and kindness transformed the Ysleta ISD Special Education Department and touched the very soul of our entire district. Her spirit, vibrant and unwavering, has left an unfading mark on each of us, and her legacy of fierce advocacy, love, and compassion will forever echo in our hearts. Roxie’s presence was a blessing—a beacon of hope, dedication, and unwavering devotion that uplifted all she encountered, inspiring us to be better, to love deeper, and to dream bigger. Though her physical absence leaves a profound ache, her memory will continue to ignite our spirits and guide us.
