Our Admin office will be CLOSED tomorrow, March 31st in observance of Cesar Chavez Day. The Pro Shop will remain open!

In observance of Cesar Chavez Day, all County of El Paso Administrative Offices and the Enrique Moreno County Courthouse will be CLOSED, Thursday, March 31.

Normal operation hours will resume, Friday, April 1, 2022.

🏆 Senior games returns Wednesday March 23, 2022 with our friends at the El Paso County Parks & Recreation at their Ascarate Golf Course located at 6900 Delta Drive - El Paso, TX 79905.

😍 We have added closest to the pin ⛳️ and longest drive 🚀 to the 2022 Senior Games Golf Tournament along with the lowest score. Award Medals ➡️ 🥇 Gold 🥈 Silver 🥉 Bronze will be handed out. Men and Women will be separated into the age categories of 50+, 60+, 70+, and 80+. Gift certificates redeemeable at the Ascarate Golf Shop for Merchandise, Driving Range, or Golf Rounds will be part of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prize package as well as for the closest to the pin and longest drive.

Those visiting Ascarate Park due to the El Paso Marathon runners please use Trowbridge and avoid Delta. Expect delays to enter the park till about NOON.

Join El Paso County Parks & Recreation this Saturday, Feb. 12th for a community meeting to share the Adopted Parks Master Plan with the public and discuss the concept of the Ascarate name update.

The meeting will be an in-person event at the Ascarate Park Pavilion from 9am - 11am.

Due to the increase traffic of the COVID-19 Testing site at the El Paso County Sportspark changes have been made to the to access of the facility effective immediately.

We ask that all Sportspark visitors (players, coaches, and spectators) use the N ZARAGOZA entrance ONLY.

All visitors using the testing site must use the entrance off JOE BATTLE ONLY.

In observance of the upcoming Christmas and New Year’s Holiday, our administrative offices will be CLOSED Dec. 24 through Dec. 27 and Dec. 31 through Jan. 3, 2022.

Ascarate Golf Course will be OPEN 6am-3pm:
Christmas Eve, Dec. 24 and New Years Eve, Dec. 31
CLOSED: Christmas Day, Dec. 25 and New Years Day Jan. 1

Ascarate Park’s toll booth will be closed but the park will remain open on Saturday, Dec. 25 and Saturday, Jan. 1, 2022. There will be no parking fee collected on these days.

The Holiday Tradition is back beginning Saturday, Dec. 4th at 6pm!

Lights on the Lake is back!

The holiday tradition will light up Ascarate Park on Saturday, December 4th beginning at 6pm and lighting ceremony to take place at 6:30pm. The FREE event is for the entire family to enjoy.

The event will feature the second annual “A Night of Hope Honoring our Healthcare Workers and First Responders”, lighting ceremony, music, food trucks and entertainment. Santa Claus will visit the event and will be available for photos with visitors.

Let's honor our departed loved ones!
EP County Parks & Recreation will be hosting a Dia De Los Muertos Community Altar from Oct. 29th to Nov. 3rd.

You may drop off your non-perishable items and other contributions at our Community Altar on Duck Island located inside Ascarate Park. Please note that these items are non-returnable. PLEASE BRING COPIES and keep your originals.

The Community Altar will be on displayed outdoors from 6 am to 10pm.

We will not be able to return under any circumstance. We apologize for any inconvenience.
