Muleskinners,

🏈 Be sure to watch the Army versus Navy football game tomorrow!

The uniforms were designed as a tribute to the "Iron Soldiers" of the 1st Armored Division on the 80th anniversary of Operation Torch in Europe and the deserts of North Africa.

Blast wall art by 142nd CSB at LSA (Logistical Support Area) Diamondback- Mosul, Iraq 2005

On March 5th, 2005 the 142nd Corps Support Battalion 'Atlas' logged its millionth mile of combat logistical patrols as Bravo Battery, 2nd Battalion, 5th Field Artillery rolled out of the gates to FOB Sykes. The 142nd DSSB "Support For Strength" is currently stationed at Fort Bliss, Texas and is a subordinate unit of the 1st Armored Division, Division Sustainment Brigade.

As a silver lining to the Ukraine conflict, we're glad the often maligned 'POG' supply/ support people are getting some recognition for executing on what is often underappreciated or overlooked: The criticality of safely getting the right material to the right place at the right time and in the right amount in austere and hazardous conditions to remote locations or expeditionary units on the move (usually farther from you) is an extremely difficult task. Nobody can do Fuel and Logistics train like the US Army.
