Friends of Schwartz Library Bookstore The Friends of the Irving Schwartz Library supports the Irving Schwartz Library Branch of the El Paso Public Library. Newer books may be priced slightly higher.

The Friends of Schwartz supports the Irving Schwartz Library through the sale of all genres of books, magazines, puzzles, DVDs, CDs. We are staffed by a dedicated group of people who volunteer their time to sort, price and stack the books on our shelves. Other volunteers act as clerks who help our customers and handle the purchases. Most of our prices have stayed consistent over the years. Hardcov

er books are priced between $1.00 and $5.00. Soft cover book prices range from $.25 to $2.00. Most puzzles are priced between $1.00 and $2.00. CDs and DVDs are priced at $1.00 per disk. Up to date magazines are $.50 and older versions are $.25.

Our hours are Monday 9:15 - 12, Tuesday 12 - 4, Wednesday 10 to2 and Saturday 10 -4. We no longer have half price Saturday on the last Saturday of the month. Instead we will choose one week every 3 months or so to have a half price week.
We are in need of donations. Our shelves are looking a bit bare so if you can, please help us out. The only books we do not accept are encyclopedias and text books. They don't sell.
