They work as mentors, tutors, and volunteer coordinators. Volunteers can serve at public and private non-profit organizations or health agencies. Special thanks to University Medical Center for partnering with us for MLK Day of Service. RSVP volunteers shared words of encouragement and support via Thank You cards sent to our hospital heroes who are on the front line of the coronavirus crisis. Pictured here are Kelsey and Jessica of UMC. As Dr. King said “Make a career of humanity...and you will make a greater person of yourself, a greater nation of your country, and a finer world to live in.”

Since September 11, 2001, millions of Americans have come together with a common purpose to honor 9/11 and commemorate the tragedy through volunteer service. Together, they represent a shared belief that by neighbor helping neighbor, we can make our country stronger and better for decades to come.
We’re spending #911Day of Service alongside Letters Against Isolation, while social distancing to pay tribute through volunteerism by writing letters to seniors in assisted living facilities and sending lots of love. #PatriotDay #RSVP #NationalServiceWorks #SeniorCorps #volunteer

#IAmElPaso #COVID19 #DiaDeLasMadres
Keep Mom safe this Mother's Day. Celebrate and stay safe. Happy Mother's Day.
This Mother’s Day, show your mom virtual love! Love your mom from a distance by calling, texting or video chatting. If you live at home with your mom, skip going out to eat and instead order her favorite takeout. Remember, all parks remain closed until further notice. #IAmElPaso #COVID19 #MothersDay

Ronald McDonald House Charities of El Paso
With people out of work, small businesses closed, schools shut down, and seniors more isolated than ever, the concept of helping our fellow man has been brought to the forefront of the social conversation.
As our fellow Americans continue to work, learn, play, and connect from home, we are asking them to please “Give From Home” too.
Sadly, at the same time, local nonprofits like Ronald McDonald House Charities of El Paso have experienced a sudden and deep drop in funding as fundraising events have been canceled and the attention of loyal donors — and even health care providers — has been pulled away to deal with other urgent concerns.
Regardless of COVID-19, the needs of the many families who rely on Ronald McDonald House Charities of El Paso have not disappeared.
If we are to continue providing a home-away-from-home which helps 'keep families close' who care for children who are seriously ill, then your support is VITAL.
On April 21, 2020, we hope we can count on you to make a difference. Please Save The Date and make plans to give to support families that are in crisis.
