We would like to congratulate Eastlake High school for becoming the first high school in El Paso to be a designated Project ADAM heart safe school. Along with El Paso Children’s Hospital we evaluated the administration and designated personnel’s ability to provide life saving care to someone in cardiac arrest. Life saving care had to be provided within a three minute mark anywhere on Campus. Not only was this achieved, but they excelled. Way to go Falcons!

Communication is one of the most important aspects of any emergency service. Mobile and portable radios, along with the infrastructure they require, are a huge cost to agencies. Thanks to the office of representative Congress women Veronica Escobar, many County agencies will be benefiting from the federal funding. Public safety is of the highest importance of all agencies and insuring that reliable communications can be had throughout our regions that will help save lives.
