The Ambrosio Guillen Texas State Veterans Home is proud to share that one of our residents, retired Staff Sergeant James H. Green Jr., was recognized as the El Paso County Veteran of the Year for 2025-26!

Texans, let's show some love to our Veterans this Valentine's Day! ❤️

Commissioner Buckingham is encouraging everyone to participate in the VLB's "Valentines for Vets" campaign.

Help us honor and show our appreciation to the brave men and women who served our country by mailing a Valentine's card to the Veterans who reside in any of the 10 Texas State Veterans Homes.

All cards should be postmarked by February 10th and include 'Valentines for Vets' in the mailing address.
