Looking for fun-loving girl who is ready for a home? 🧡🐾

Lynn is around 4 years old and loves children, teenagers, and adults. Basically, if you're a hooman, Lynn is already by your side, ready to get pets and give kisses. Lynn is also already house-trained AND leash-trained, and is perfect for morning hikes but will also watch TV with you; she's a fun girl ready for any adventure. 👏

Bandit first came into our shelter with another pup back in May. Her friend was quickly adopted, but now Bandit waits all on her own.
 
She’s a little shy when you first meet her, but give her a couple of treats and a little time, and you’ll see that she’s actually a happy, friendly girl who just wants to play, explore, and watch the world go by.
 
Bandit has done well with other dogs and wouldn’t mind having fur-siblings at home. She also does well on leash and already knows how to sit, so she’s got a pretty good head start on being someone’s best girl.
 
She’s been overlooked for months, but we know her family is out there. If you think that’s you, come and meet her today 🧡

🐾 Raya is ready to trade shelter life for couch life! ❤️
At 6 years old, this sweet husky is calm, easygoing, and happiest simply being with her people. On her Doggy Day Out, Raya was a perfect passenger, walked beautifully on leash, and happily curled up for a couch nap. 🥹
After spending much of her life in and out of the shelter, Raya deserves a different ending—a forever home. 🏡

Help us keep Lola out of the shelter! She’s currently in a loving foster home and is hoping to find her forever before September! Keep reading to learn about how perfect she is! 😍

Just over one week into foster care, and Lola is already showing us just how much there is to love about this girl.
 
Her foster says Lola is doing great with potty training. She does have a little bit of excitement p*e when she gets really happy, but her foster has found a routine that works, and she’s making great progress. Now, Lola waits until they’re outside before getting all those excited greetings. 🥹
 
She’s also a total social butterfly. Lola loves doggy daycare and does especially well with smaller dogs. Her foster is slowly introducing her to bigger dogs, but for now, she’s happiest hanging out with her little friends.
 
And when she’s not making new friends, Lola is busy collecting shoes. Don’t worry, she doesn’t eat them. She just apparently thinks they’re important enough to add to her collection. 😂
 
At bedtime, Lola settles into her own bed in the living room like a good girl. During the day, though, she’s all about her people. Her foster says she gives endless hugs and absolutely loves cuddling.
 
She’s also discovering that she’s quite the little athlete. Lola loves going for walks, and after just one week in foster care, she’d already worked her way up to three miles!
 
It’s amazing what even a short time in a home can show us. Lola isn’t just getting a break from the shelter. She’s learning, growing, and showing us more of her personality every day.

"Happy 1st year in your forever home to our goofiest little lovebug! It's been amazing watching you go from a scared street/shelter dog to Stella's cuddle buddy, backyard track star, treat vacuum, dryer ball killer, giant lap dog, nap queen of all dog beds, fur blizzard (we should invest in stock for lint rollers), and fetcher of all squeaky toys except tennis balls.

The first six months were a very bumpy road. From being scared of all dogs, major food aggression, having to have a separate outside and food schedule, and not knowing how to fit in to a house, you've come so far. Not only do you try more foods, but you can eat treats in the same room as Luna and Stella, you're amazing on walks with your sisters, you're the best car rider, you now sleep on the couch and bed, you no longer need a crate, safe space, or baby gates, you play fetch and chase your siblings around outside, you're insanely smart and very good with commands, and Stella is your best friend!

We love you so much Artemis, and we can't wait for another year of adventures with you! 💜"

Mimi has been waiting long enough. 🧡

This sweet girl has spent far too much time at the shelter, and we’re hoping someone finally takes a chance on her.

Mimi can be a little shy at first, but give her like 5 minutes, and she’ll start to show you who she really is. Once she’s comfortable, she loves rolling around in the grass, soaking up belly rubs, and finding the perfect sunny spot to stretch out and sunbathe.

She’s a lower-energy girl who doesn’t need to be on the go all day. Mimi is happiest enjoying the simple things: a little time outside, some affection from her people, and a cozy place to settle in afterward.

She’s been calm and friendly during her time with us and she’s shown no issues around other dogs.
Mimi isn’t looking for anything complicated. She just wants someone willing to give her the time she needs to come out of her shell and become the sweet companion we know she can be.

After all this time, we’d love for Mimi’s next sunny spot to be in a home. 🐾

A HUGE shoutout to our friends at Telemundo 48 El Paso for helping us make this event such a success! 🧡
In just one day, our community received more than 200 low-cost vaccines and free microchips, while more than 50 pets found their forever or foster homes! 🐾
And two of those happy endings were especially meaningful to us.
Granola, who had been on our at-risk list while navigating his medical needs, left the shelter for a foster-to-adopt home! After everything this quirky boy has been through, we’re so excited to see him getting the chance to feel safe and decompress in a home.
And then there’s Samantha, one of our longest stays, who had been waiting more than 450 days for someone to choose her. She officially found her forever family. 
These are the moments that make everything worth it.
To everyone who came out to get their pets vaccinated or microchipped, and to everyone who left with a new furry family member, thank you! Your support helps us continue making a difference for pets throughout El Paso.
And of course, thank you to Telemundo 48 El Paso for helping us spread the word and bring our community together. We couldn’t do events like this without partners who believe in the mission as much as we do.
El Paso, you showed up, and you showed out. 
If you haven’t taken advantage of FREE adoptions yet, there’s still time! We have LOTS of pets waiting for their chance, and adoption fees are completely waived through August 31.
