10:43 a.m., Aug. 2 - Saturday's severe storms brought down wooden poles, power lines and pushed trees into electrical equipment across parts of our service area. Crews worked overnight and have restored the vast majority of impacted customers. As of this morning, approximately 1,400 customers remain affected in the Socorro area as crews finish repairs. Thank you for your continued patience.

7:12 p.m. UPDATE: Crews continue working across our service area to restore power as safely and quickly as possible.

Approximately 5,300 customers remain affected by outages at this time, though restoration work is ongoing and customer counts continue to change.

Thank you for your patience as crews work through multiple outage locations this evening.

Outage Update — 5:03 p.m.

A storm system moving across our region this afternoon has caused multiple outages in parts of El Paso and southern New Mexico, including lightning-related outages on the far east side. Our crews and system operators are responding across the system, and additional crews have been called in to help restore power safely and as quickly as possible.
